Commissioning

Commissioning In Lieu of Guarantor form. For the individuals who apply for Canadian passports, but don’t have any person as a guarantor, you need to obtain the “In Lieu of Guarantor form” from the passport office. You will then need to fill out the form, have a Notary notarize it, and bring it to the passport office along with other documents required to obtain a passport. Some of these documents need to be certified as true copies by the Notary as well.
